Description
Nos 2 and 4 on East Road are early to mid 19th century buildings constructed of stucco. They feature a low pitch hipped slate roof with wide eaves supported by brackets. The buildings are two storeys tall and are distinguished by a giant pilastrade with moulded capitals and incised live ornament. There are four ranges of windows. Set back from the front, there is a one-storey trellis work porch with a coved lead roof that connects Nos 4 and 6. These buildings, along with Nos 2 to 12 (even) and Riversmead, form a group.
