Description

No 88 on East Street is a building from the late 18th century to early 19th century, constructed of red brick with rubble rear walls and a pitched slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and features three ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. To the right, there is a carriage entrance with a three-centred arch. The main entrance has a six-panelled door topped with an arched fanlight. At the rear, there are various two-storey outhouses that flank a paved courtyard, which is separated from the garden by iron railings adorned with fleur de lys finials. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 74 to 92 on the same street.
