Description

No. 81 East Street is a building likely dating from the 18th century. It has a rendered exterior and a slate roof, standing two storeys tall with an attic. The façade features five ranges of sash windows with glazing bars and two dormers in the attic. The entrance includes a six-panelled door with a fanlight and panelled reveals, set within a doorway that has a three-centred head, a moulded archivolt, and pilasters with sunk panels. Wrought iron grilles are present on the windows flanking the door. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 61 to 115 (odd) and a wall from the east end of No. 115.
