Description
Old Mill House and Mill House, along with the outhouses at the rear and to the east, and the wall to the east of Mill House, date from the 18th century. The buildings are rendered and feature a pitched slate roof with coped gables and red brick stacks. They are two storeys high with attics and have six ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. There is one slate-hung attic corner with casement windows that also have glazing bars. No 1 has a six-panelled door set in a panelled surround, while Mill House has a modern door. To the west, there is a hammer dressed stone lean-to extension with a planked loft door. The hammer dressed stone outhouses, which are partly slate hung, have both pitched and lean-to slate roofs, forming a small courtyard to the east that is enclosed by a rubble wall. The outhouses at the rear are made of hammer dressed stone and have a pitched slate roof with stone slates at the eaves. Nos 1 to 11 (odd) are part of a group.
