Description

St Nicholas Cottage is likely a 17th-century cottage. It is constructed of brick and stone, with a thatched roof and brick stacks. The cottage is two storeys high. A modern stable-type door is set within a thatched, rustic porch. On the ground floor are three horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has two casement windows, also with glazing bars. The interior features chamfered ceiling beams and one open fireplace with a bread oven. A stone front boundary wall is topped with brick. At the rear is a detached, single-storey outbuilding with stone walls and a tiled roof, including a horizontally sliding sash window with glazing bars.
