Terrace of three cottages on west side of Village Green. Probably C18. Lilac Cottage, at south end, has stone walls with brick dressings, thatched roof, brick stacks. Two storeys. Two storeyed wing at rear, also stone and thatched, was originally a separate cottage. Main block has ledged door with glass panel. Ground floor has modern metal casement. First floor has two horizontally sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Single-storey extension on south has stone walls with brick details and asbestos slate roof. Two windows - one with glazing bars. The Homestead, in centre of terrace, has stone walls with brick dressings, thatched roof, brick stack. Two storeys. Ground floor has ledged door with glass panel, and one horizontally sliding sash window with glazing bars. First floor has two similar windows. Rose Cottage, at north end, appears slightly later build. Stone walls with brick dressings, thatched roof, brick stack. Two storeys. Ground floor has modern panelled door and two modern casement windows with glazing bars. First floor has two similar windows. Under repair at time of survey.
