Description

FIFEHEAD NEVILIE FIFEHEAD NEVILLE: VILLAGE ST 71 SE 5/4 Fifehead Neville Manor House G.V. II Manor House, late C17 core but mostly C19. Rendered and brick walls, slated gable-ended roofs with brick stacks. East facade: 2 storeys and attic, 6 window range. Variety of casements, some C19 with and without glazing bars and some C18, of wrought iron with leaded-lights. West door under semi- circular porch on round columns. Panelled door flanked by margin lights and double pilasters. Internally, there is a moulded and beaded plank and muntin partition (RCHM). C18 stable range. "RCHM Dorset Vol III", p 93 no 3.
