Description
Beauworth Manor is a manor house dating from the early 18th century, with remodels from the 19th century. It is constructed of brick with rendered incised lines and features an old plain tile roof. The building has two storeys above a cellar and a four-bay front, with a parallel range at the rear. To the right, there is a lower bay set back by one bay, which includes a 19th-century double pile wing at the rear and right.
The manor stands on a plinth with a terrace in front, accessed by three steps leading up to a central door. This door is an early 19th-century design with a top glazed panel and narrow side panes, framed by a panelled reveal and fluted columns that support a pediment. On either side of the door, there are two 19th-century 12-pane sash windows, and at each end of the front, there is a 19th-century 20-pane sash window. A string course runs along the first floor, which features four 19th-century 16-pane sash windows. The eaves cornice is white painted and moulded, with modillions. The roof is hipped and has stacks positioned behind the ridge towards either end. The right bay contains two 19th-century casements with two small sashes above, and it has lower eaves that are similar to the hipped roof.
