Description
Corner Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It has a timber frame that is encased in brick, with a thatched roof, although the rear is tiled. The building consists of three bays, with a tiled extension at the left end that connects to the rear wing of Wentways. It is tall, with one and a half storeys and three bays featuring a 19th-century central planked door that has a small light above it, all under a tiled gabled brick porch. There are two 19th-century three-light casement windows with cambered brick arches, along with three eyebrow dormers that contain two and three light casements. The cottage has gable end stacks.
