Description

Rosemary Cottage is a cottage likely of 17th-century origin, with a 18th-century reface. A later addition extends to the left. The cottage has whitewashed rubble and brick walls, a thatched roof with gable ends, and brick stacks at the ends of the original range. It is two storeys high with a four-window front. The windows are wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars, in two and three-light arrangements. A central, gabled porch was added in the 20th century. The building is documented in "RCHM, Dorset, vol III" at page 109, number 33.
