Description

Back Lane Farm is a farmhouse, probably from the 17th century. It is constructed of rubble, brick, and cob, and is whitewashed. The roof is thatched, with a gable end on the left and a half-hipped end on the right. There are brick stacks on both the left and right sides of the front door. The building has one and a half storeys and features a three-window range, with three and four light wooden casements that include horizontal glazing bars. A wall plate is visible below two dormers. At the rear, there is a later brick extension.
