Description
The Antelope is a public house located in Hazelbury Bryan, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond with flared headers and features a tiled roof with gable ends, stone copings, and end brick stacks. There is a 19th-century parallel range at the rear. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with three-light casements that have glazing bars, except for the central upper floor window, which is a similar two-light casement. The ground and upper floor right windows are set under flat rubbed brick arches, while the others are under 20th-century steel and concrete lintels. A central gabled porch has a blocked entrance, and there is a plat band at the first floor level. Inside, one room contains an 18th-century fireplace and panelling. There is also a service wing at the rear.
