Description
Grenestede Farmhouse is a house that likely dates back to 1618, featuring a rear wing and an 18th-century main range. The rear wing is constructed of coursed rubble and cob, while the main range is made of brick in Flemish bond with flared headers. The roofs are thatched with gable ends and end brick stacks. The main range has two storeys and a symmetrical five-window layout, with two-light wooden casements that include glazing bars. There is a central glazed porch and a plat band. The 17th-century wing has some casements with leaded lights and is said to have a date inscribed on a ceiling beam.
