Description

17 and 19 The Close are two-storey red brick cottages. Number 17 features a half dormer and a new window on the ground floor. Its doorway has a late Georgian reeded architrave with moulded roundels at the corners, and a hood supported by moulded brackets, with a modern glazed door. Number 19 has two 3-light casement windows both above and below, with the lower ones having segmental heads. Its central doorway also has a segmental head and contains a wooden boarded door within a frame. Numbers 17 and 19, along with numbers 19 to 22, form a group with Leslie House and The Tabernacle.
