Description

Leslie House is a 18th-century building located next to the new County of Dorset Public Library. It features a two-storey facade with three windows, constructed from typical brickwork. The building has gable ends and dormers, and the eaves cornice is adorned with flat brackets underneath. Moulded brick kneelers are present, and the doorway is framed by reeded pilasters topped with moulded roundels. It also has a projecting hood and a fanlight, along with lion knockers. Leslie House is part of a group with Nos 17 and 19 to 22 (consecutive) The Close.
