Description
73 The Close is a 17th to 18th century building that stands two stories tall. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a raised string course above the ground floor windows. The building has a coved cornice and an old tiled roof. On the first floor, there are two 2-light casement windows, which flank a narrow central light. The ground floor has two large 2-light casements set in segmental arched recesses, and it is equipped with 18th-century panelled shutters. The central door is a flush six-panel design, surrounded by an architrave and topped with a flat moulded hood. The east gable end showcases stone and flint work.
