Description
Glebe Cottage is a cottage with origins dating back to the 17th century. It features brick walls, a thatched roof, and brick stacks. The building has a three-room lobby entrance plan and stands two storeys tall. The front wall is buttressed, and there is a ledged door with a glass panel. An additional door is located at the west end, likely replacing a former pantry window. On the ground floor, there are two double-hung sash windows with vertical glazing bars, while the first floor has three casement windows with glazing bars. Inside, the central ground floor room includes a large open fireplace with a timber lintel and one chamfered ceiling beam. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to with a modern tiled roof. The property is enclosed by a cob boundary wall topped with tiles.
