Description

ST 30 SE THORNCOMBE SADBOROW 3/75 Six Gate Piers and attached walls, 430 metres North-East of Sadborow House II Six Gate piers. Late C18. Ham-stone piers with knapped flint walling and stone copings. Piers: square with moulded cornices and flat top blocks. Central pair additionally have recessed round headed panels to each face, and an urn on top of each block. Gates: 3 wooden gates, painted. One gate to drive and 2 small pedestrian gates.
