Description

This is a cottage attached to the 'Royal Oak' public house, likely dating from the 18th century. It is built of rubble walls with stone quoins, and has a corrugated iron roof with stone gable copings to the gable ends. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, featuring wooden casements with crown glass and stone cills. Newhaven forms part of a group of buildings at the centre of the village.
