Description
The Old Crown and its attached outbuildings date from the 18th century or earlier. The building features rubble walls with roughcast rendering and a thatched roof that has half-hipped and gable ends. There are two brick chimney stacks, and the main entrance is located to the right of the center. The structure is two storeys high and has a five-window range. The ground floor windows have been fitted with renewed wooden and metal frames, while the upper floor features 18th-century casements with crown glass. The front door leads to a 20th-century porch that includes leaded glass quarries, and there is a 19th-century brick porch with a pitched slate roof. The attached outbuildings also have rubble walls and a lean-to roof made of Roman tiles.
