Description
Dogwell Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatch roof with stone gable copings. There is a brick stack on the right-hand gable, and the gable end faces the lane. The building has two storeys and includes two windows with 3-, 4-, and 6-light wooden casements, with the earliest dating to the 18th century. The stone arch has voussoirs. The front door, located to the right of the centre, is wooden and panelled with two top lights, and there is a 20th-century wooden porch. Attached to the left end of the farmhouse is a rubble-stone barn with a slate roof, featuring a door near the junction with the farmhouse that has dressed stone jambs.
