Description

Tanyard Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around the 17th century and later. It features rubble and brick walls that have been painted, with a thatch roof that has gable ends and one stone gable coping. There is a brick stack at each gable, both with renewed caps. The building has two storeys and four windows, which are wooden casements with glazing bars, arranged in 2 and 3 lights. The front door is located to the left of centre and has six glass panels, dating from the 20th century, along with a modern pitched-roof canopy. There is an outshut on the right side of the building with a Roman-tile roof.
