Description
Moryatt Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating to the late 18th century, located in Halstock village. It is constructed of rubble-stone walls with ashlar stone quoins. The roof is slate, with gable ends and stone gable-copings. 19th-century brick stacks are positioned at the end gables. The front elevation features four sash windows with thin glazing-bars (16 panes), each with a moulded stone architrave and cill. A 20th-century plank door with two glazed lights is centrally positioned on the right-hand side. To the right of the door is a square stone porch with a stone architrave, cornice, and flat top.
Attached to the left-hand end of the farmhouse is a stable. It has rubble-stone walls and a half-hipped slate roof. The stable has one storey and contains two fixed windows with cambered voussoirs. A 19th-century stable door with a wooden frame and plank door is located at the centre.
