Description
This is a detached cottage, dating from around the early 18th century, and extended by one bay to the west. The cottage has rubble stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are 20th-century brick stacks at the ridge, to the right of the centre, and at the right-hand gable. The cottage is one and a half storeys high, with three windows. These are 2-light wooden casements with leading, dating from the 20th century. They have wooden and concrete lintels, and 20th-century wooden shutters. A plank door, studded with strap-hinges, is located to the right of the centre. A hipped thatch porch canopy, supported on wooden posts and stone side walls, covers the front door.
