Description
The railings and gate bounding the garden to the west of the premises occupied by the South-Western Dairies Ltd date from the 19th century. The railings feature uprights that are looped at the top in pairs, alternating with small spear-shaped finials attached to the top of the highest rail. The gate has uprights that are also looped in pairs, extending outward from the innermost pair. This structure is part of a group that includes the premises occupied by the South-Western Dairies, a wall and gateways to the east, Brewery Cottage, the Slessor Club, Bute House, Brecon House, and a dwarf wall. The railings and gates to Brecon House contribute to this group context.
