Description
Brewery Cottage, built in 1625, is located on the southeast side of Long Street. It features a front made of 18th-century shone rubble and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The roof is slate, and there are two gabled dormers. The windows have moulded architraves and are fitted with later sash designs. The entrance has a modern wooden door in a Spanish style.
The premises are associated with the South Western Dairies and include railings and a gate that bound the garden to the west, as well as a wall and gateways to the east. Brewery Cottage is part of a group that includes the Slessor Club, Bute House, Brecon House, and a dwarf wall, with the railings and gates to Brecon House contributing to the overall group value.
