Description
The structure consists of a wall, railings, and a gate that serve the property known as Donore. These features date back to the early 17th century and include a key pattern in the railings. The front garden is enclosed by an ashlar dwarf wall. Extending beyond the westernmost part of the railings is a wall made of stone rubble with rounded coping, which continues westward to the outbuilding adjacent to the screen wall of The Red House. This structure is part of a group that includes The Red House, Grey Lodge, forecourt walls and railings to The Red House, Donore, Eastbury House, a carriage entrance to the east, a garden wall to the west, Elizabeth House, Bracondale, The Cedars, East Cedars, a garden wall adjoining The Cedars on the west side, Corby House, Hill View Lodge, Masongill, Glenville, and Long Street Post Office.
