Description
Eastbury Cottages, located on Long Street, date from around the late 17th century and feature a later roughcast front and a patent pantile roof with cresting. The building is two storeys high, with each house having a two-window layout and uniform three-light wood casements. The structure includes chamfered quoins and a stone plinth. The doorways are linked under a single hood, adorned with reeded pilasters and shaped brackets. The proportions of the cottages are long and low, with attractively spaced windows. Internally, there is panelling. Eastbury Cottages, along with St Swithin's Cottage and the Outbuilding to the southwest of Eastbury Hotel, form a group.
