Description

The structure consists of a wall and gateways located to the east of the premises occupied by the South Western Dairies Ltd. It dates from the late 18th century to the 19th century. The wall is a short stretch of high ashlar with a plinth and coping. It features double ledged gates leading to a yard and a smaller opening to the east, which includes a three-canted stone arch and additional double ledged gates.

The premises occupied by the South Western Dairies are bounded by railings and a gate that enclose a garden to the west, while the wall and gateways to the east are part of a group that includes Brewery Cottage, the premises occupied by the Slessor Club, Bute House, Brecon House, and a dwarf wall. The railings and gates to Brecon House also contribute to this group value context.
