Description
This is a barn located 30 metres northeast of The Manor House, dating from the late 17th century, with porch additions from the 19th century. The barn features rubble stone walls with brick quoins and a thatched roof that is hipped at both ends. On the north wall, there are three slit lights. The original porch at the northeast end of the north side is brick-lined and has a hipped thatch roof. There is also a 19th-century porch on the same side, which is also brick-lined, and both porches do not have doors. The north wall has two pitch doors, one of which is blocked with brick. The south wall is supported by five brick buttresses and has two doorways that correspond to the porches on the opposite side. Inside, the roof construction consists of halved collar beam trusses.
