Description
Valley View is a Grade II listed single cottage, originally built as two attached cottages, dating from the early to mid-19th century. The cottage features stone walls that are rendered and painted, topped with a thatch roof that has gable ends. There are brick stacks located at the left-hand gable and along the ridge, positioned to the right of the center. The building is two storeys high and has five windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills. There are two earlier windows at the upper right that have lead lights and are also three-light casements. The door, located to the left of center, is a 20th-century plank door with one glass light, while the door at the right-hand end is a plank door dating from the 19th century.
