Description

Manor Cottage is a Grade II listed dwelling, originally two cottages, built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed marlstone with a stone slate roof. This estate cottage reflects a picturesque style, featuring one prominent gable and three smaller gables, along with two gable stacks and one central stack, all paired. The building has 1½ storeys and includes one, two, or three-light mullioned casements with stopped drips. There is a plank and batten door with a Tudor head and stopped drip located to the right of the main gable, which is part of a modern lean-to addition. A second door, in its original position, is found in the lower wing on the left.
