Description

BEAMINSTER NORTH STREET ST 4701/4801 (SOUTH SIDE) 7/114 No 2 (R. W. Trocian) GV II House, Premises of R. W. Trocian, Butcher. Early C19. Brick walls in Flemish bond, painted white. Stone dressings. Roman tile roof. Stone gable-coping at left hand. C20 brick stack at left hand. 2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with glazing-bars. Projecting keystone and rendered lintels. Centre upper window, Venetian with projecting keystone. Left ground, canted bay window with sashes, plain frieze and small, dentil cornice. Shop front incorporates house entrance (left hand) and shop entrance (right hand). Doric pilaster framing to the 2 entrances, plain wooden entablature. Slate pentice roof over. Shop window of 7 panes width and 3 panes high, divided by glazing-bars, C19.
