Description
The Greyhound Inn is an attached public house dating from the late 18th century. It features stone walls that are rendered and painted, with an asbestos slate roof. The right gable has stone coping, and there are 20th-century brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The building is two storeys high and has three windows on the ground floor, which are 19th-century sashes. The upper floor also has sashes with glazing bars, with the centre window being one pane narrower than the others. The wooden frames and cills are notable features. The front door, located at the centre, is panelled and has two top lights, dating from the 20th century. At the rear, there is a wing with lias rubble walls and a slate roof that has a gable end. This section also has one brick stack on the ridge at the centre, is two storeys tall, and features three windows on the ground floor, which are 19th-century three-light wooden casements. The rear door is wooden with two glass panels, also from the 20th century.
