Description

No. 116 on West Borough is an 18th-century building with brick walls laid in Flemish bond, featuring burnt headers. It has a brick dentil cornice at the eaves and a tiled roof with a brick stack. The building stands two storeys high and has a central doorway with a part-glazed modern door set in an elaborate classical surround. This surround includes a broken pediment on console brackets and moulded pilasters, all adorned with carved ornament, which may have been relocated from another site. On the ground floor, there are two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor features three similar windows.
