Description

This is a good example of a 19th-century house in East Borough. It has brick walls, a low-pitched slate roof with wide eaves, and rendered stacks. The house is two storeys high, with a slightly projecting central section to the facade. The central entrance is set back within a rendered, rusticated surround with a moulded cornice, and features a six-panel door with a plain fanlight above. On the ground floor are two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars; on the first floor are three similar windows. An ornamental cast iron railing defines the front boundary. The house is noted as a good, unspoiled example of 19th-century architecture.
