Description
The Roman column, located approximately 10 metres east of Fifehead Neville Manor House, is a stone column that originates from the plunge bath of a Roman villa situated about 500 metres to the east-north-east. It stands at a height of 5 feet 1½ inches and is complete with its base and capital. Currently, it serves as an ornamental feature in the garden. This column is referenced in "RCHM Dorset Vol III", page 93, numbers 3 and 13.
