No. 8 Poole Road is an 18th-century building with brick walls that are rendered, except for the south wall, and features a tiled roof with brick stacks. The structure is two storeys tall, with a single-storey addition on the south side that has a slate roof.
On the ground floor, there is a central half-glazed door framed by a simple classical surround, topped with a pedimented hood supported by shaped brackets. The first floor features three double-hung sash windows, each with glazing bars, although one window only has a centre bar. The single-storey extension on the south side includes two large canted bay windows, which also have double-hung sashes with glazing bars.
