Description

No. 6 Poole Road is an 18th-century building with brick walls and a parapet, topped by a tiled roof and featuring brick stacks. It stands two storeys tall and has a stone band course at the base of the parapet. The ground floor includes a central doorway with a six-panel moulded panel door set in a classical surround. Above the door is a very good ornamental fanlight, and the entrance is topped by a pediment with modillion blocks, supported by half-round Tuscan pilasters on an entablature. There are two three-light double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on the ground floor, while the first floor has two similar windows and a single-light double-hung sash window with glazing bars in the centre.
