5193 PAMPHILL ABBOTT STEEET (South Side) Former Smithy adjoining No 544 on west ST 90 SE 3/48 2.11.82 II GV 2. Probably C19. Colourwashed brick walls with weather-boarded gable. Tiled roof, brick stack. Single-storey. Upper part of roof raised for its full length - for ventilation. Ledged door. Plain timber windows. Loft door in gable. Part of furnace survives. At west end is the former shoeing house - of timber construction. Included for group value.
