ST 7813 STURMINSTER NEWTON THE BRIDGE 9/75 Bridge 30m West- North-West of the Bull Inn

GV II Road Bridge over stream, mid C19. Ashlar. Single span, segmental arch. Flanked by battered buttresses on both sides. Stone parapet with no mouldings. Coping flush with wall. forms a group with the town bridge and the arched causeway leading to it qv "RCHM, Dorset Vol III" HMSO, 1970, p 283 no 48.
