Description

Newton Farmhouse is a house from the 17th century with 20th-century alterations. It is built of brick, mainly in stretcher bond, and render, with a thatched roof and ashlar quoins. The ground floor features a mix of 20th-century casement windows and three doors. On the upper floor to the right, there is a jettied gable that supports a five-light timber bay window with ovolo-moulded mullions and leaded lights. To the left, there are two 20th-century three-light windows with horizontal glazing bars. Inside, the house has deep chamfered beams.
