Description
Huckleberry Cottage and Little Garth are two cottages dating from the 17th century, with additions made in the mid-18th century. They are constructed of whitewashed rubble and brick in Flemish bond, topped with a thatched roof that has half-hipped ends. The cottages are arranged in an L-plan, with a half-hipped gable facing the road on the right side. The buildings are two stories tall and feature a range of four windows. The windows include two-, three-, and four-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars, and the two left window ranges have leaded lights. The lintels above the windows are made of timber and 20th-century steel. Inside No 85, there is a deep chamfered beam and a heavy wooden door frame in the kitchen.
