Description

This is a barn and stable block located at Park Farm, approximately 15 metres north of the cart shed, dating from around 1800. The structure features coursed lias stone walls and brick quoins at the south end. The barn has a slate roof, while the stable block has a thatched roof with a lower ridge. The barn consists of one open storey, and the stable includes a loft above. The barn door is now made of metal, and the rear entrance has been blocked with breeze-block infill. The attached stable has a central door flanked by window openings, which are topped with voussoirs made of dressed stone. Some wooden frames are present, and there is a loft doorway above.
