Description
Ashford Cottages are two attached cottages built in the late 18th century. They feature coursed lias stone rubble walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are three brick stacks: one on the left gable, one on the right gable, and one on the party wall. The cottages are two storeys tall and have five windows, which are wooden casements with two and three lights. Voussoirs are present over the windows. The front door of No 1 is centrally located, wood panelled with two top lights, and the reveals are also panelled, dating from the 18th century. The front door of No 2 is on the left, made of wood from the 20th century with two glass panels in the top half. There is an outshut at the rear.
