Description
Sunnyside consists of two attached cottages built in the 18th century. They feature coursed Lias stone walls and have a large sleeper buttress at the left end, which is a recent addition. The cottages have a thatched roof with a gable end on the left side, continuing with the roof of The George on the right. There are two 20th-century brick chimneys, one at the left gable and another at the party wall. The buildings are two storeys high and have four windows, which are two-light wooden casements with glazing bars and old glass. There are two front doors; the central door of No 2 is a plank door with a hipped thatch canopy supported by wooden posts, while No 1 features a 19th-century wooden door with glass panels above, also with a similar thatch canopy. Inside No 2, there is an open fireplace with a wooden lintel and 19th-century brick jambs.
