Description
Hill View and Fernley are two cottages that were originally one house, built around 1810. They feature ashlar lias stone walls and have a stone plat band that separates the two storeys. The cottages are topped with a thatch roof that has gable ends and stone gable copings with level kneelers. There are two 20th-century brick stacks located at the left and right gables. The buildings are two storeys high and have three windows; the right side has sashes with glazing bars, while the left side has 20th-century wooden casements. All windows have stone cills and projecting keys. There are two front doors: one is located at the center (the original position) and is a wooden door from the 20th century, while the other is immediately to the right of center and is an early 20th-century wooden door. A simple porch canopy is supported by light posts.
