Description

The stables and cart-shed located 15 metres south of Bettiscombe Manor House were built around 1800. They feature brick walls with some burnt headers and stone gable copings topped with ball-finials. The roof is made of slate and the structure consists of six bays. The windows are square with segment-headed openings and have plank strutters. There are three stable doors, each with segmental heads. The cart-shed is attached and has a loft above it, with a distinctive pattern of burnt headers on the north gable wall. An external brick stair with stone treads leads to the loft door, and there is a dog-kennel located underneath.
