Description
The stables and cartshed, located on the north side of the Tithe Barn yard, were built in the early 19th century. They feature English garden wall bond brown brickwork and a grey slate roof, with one ridge chimney. The stable section on the right has a divided stable door set under a cambered arch, along with three altered windows. Above, there are three pitching eyes for the hay loft, with the central one converted into a round-arched loading door. To the immediate left of the stable, there is a camber-arched boarded door, and the cartshed on the left has two double doors in recessed openings, with groom's quarters above that include two four-pane casements. The far left side has three camber-arched openings, with a camber-arched loading door situated above. The interior has not been inspected. This building is listed for its group value.
