Description

Maiden's Cross is a plague cross, likely from the medieval period, made of sandstone. It has a trapezoidal shape, measuring approximately 0.70 by 0.50 metres, and rises about 0.30 metres above the ground. The front face of the stone features a camber-headed chamber, which was used during plague quarantine for the exchange of goods and money.
